Oh Mia!

Boy, she is far from helpful!!

I was prepping a project for a Club Gathering and had to go into the other room for a moment.
I came back to find Mia "prepping her spot for a nap!"

Her she is right after literally pushing one stack on the floor

Then she grabbed my fingers when I tried to pick some of the pieces up off the table.

She really didn't like it when I moved her to pick up the pieces from under her. Little monster! LOL

Using up some of the In Colors heading out this year...
Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder
I used Twitterpated DSP and the Bird Builder Punch to make the Tulips
Petals A Plenty TIEF
Scallop from Adorning Accents Edglits
Bitty Banner Framelits
and One In A Million Stamp Set

You mean so much to so many people (outside)
One of them is me (inside)

WOYWW 198

My friend Kelly told me to go check out her blog post last week. So I did..humm show what's on my desk (table).

This is the photo I tried to post last Wednesday...
Some projects have moved off to make room for the next.
Notice Mia? She doesn't care what's on the table or in her way.
See the plastic container under her..it was switched foe tote in the next photo.

WOW! This is embarrassing to see a picture of this.

A close up of the main pile.... ugh I shouldn't had taken this one!!!
Honest I am not a slob, that's not a pop can just laying there.
It's all rinsed and cut to be run through the Big Shot.
I found the coolest project on Pinterest for the SU Flower Folds Die and a pop can made into a tea light holder (forgot before cutting it, I do not have the die, I just received cuts as a wish)

This plastic tote (which started out as a small 8 1/2 x 11 case) was s'posed to be a temporary holding zone for all the cuts, images and Impression samples that I have been receiving.
Oh, it's taking me so long to put together samples to show my ladies.

As soon as I moved it from the edge Mia took post

Ahh my scraps basket.. it has gotten thinner since I started this endeavor of making samples of everything Big Shot.
Please tell me I am not alone in the stock pile of scraps.

Behind Wilbur.... that's where all of my card stock belongs, including the scraps basket.
On the right is the shelf of inks and stamps.

Here are 3 of the cards I have done with the samples (and scraps)  The piece in the bag on the right is going to be a sample swatch of the In Colors. Just waiting on my Card Stock order to arrive. Oh yeah, more stuff to put on my table.

Looking over the photo of all the clutter, figuring out what's in it...well I noticed my notebook. I made this back in 2007 from a File Folder. It has a 5x7 note pad in it, it just hangs out next to the computer. I usually write down measurements from tutorials I watch. Not sure if you can tell, but I also used it as a sponging pad! heee heee

Just got these 3 sets yesterday... I'm dying to create something! The dilemma is to put them away until I think of something or keep them out til I do.

Love this drawer unit..it fits so nicely under the table. All of my adhesives, scissors, rulers, all of it..right there! I even bought of the drawer organizers  for each drawer. Love this thing!

This is for my ex MIL Judy her b'day is this week.
It's in the first photo, but I took this photo over by a window.
Only way things get off my table, photo ops! hee hee

I found a blog of Punch Art using SU punches....he is so darned cute I had to try it.
(I forgot to give him lips!)

Honeycomb TIEF, Blossom Punch and a Treat Cup for my little MJ's Easter card
Also made one for my sample projects.

Another from the samples tote. Little Leaves Sizzlit, Fun Flowers Die and Flower Garden TIEF,
Oh I really like how this turned out, I might need to buy this Die for myself.

Blossom Party, Tasteful Trim and Fancy Favor

Delicate Designs, Beautiful Butterflies Sizzlit, Just Believe, Organza Ribbon and Bakers Twine

Silver Glimmer Card Stock and Tag Punch
(isn't this a cute one)

Elegant Lines TIEF  used as a card front for....

I used aluminum foil for the mirror.

Tea Shoppe with Delft Technique

Tommy is over 30# and he seriously moves things out of way.

I had to clean up a bit..mostly off the floor.
I came back in the room to find Tommy found a spot (or made a spot)

Mia seems all tired out by all my cleaning.
Oh, see the pages there on the right..I am hoping to paint my ceiling in here come July (when DD visits) and finding color ideas. So not interested in Blah White.

To explain that water bottle, and what is so fascinating to have the cats all looking up...I got  a pair of parakeets for my b'day last week. The water bottle, reminds them I am watching when they get  too focused.  Since my table is covered with so much paper I am happy they don't make me spray it!
Spook doesn't seem to care at all.

What is WOYWW?

What is WOYWW?

The acronym means: What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday
The number: is the number of Wednesdays that we've been doing this.
It started because: I'm nosey and wanted to see what other people have got and what other people do at their desks whilst I'm busy procrastinating.
You can join by: uploading a photo to your blog, using the acronym in the title of your blog post and linking your blog on the Mr Linky under the appropriate Wednesday post. You don't need permission and there's no commitment, join in on any Wednesday that you have a mind to!
There is: apparently, a competition for the number one link.
There are: a lot of people joining in.  Reciprocity is the name of the game, then random visiting if you still want to see more.
It helps: if you turn off word verification.  Oh man, it helps.
Rules?: There aren't any rules per se, but let me advise you about using WOYWW to advertise.  Linking to every other product is a turn off, it makes reading difficult and really dilutes the impact of your article.

Linking your latest post (and not a desk related Wednesday post) to WOYWW will cause the quickest click away...visitors from this MEME want to see your desk or at least what you're currently crafting....comments, readers etc happen that way. I recommend you come back the next day and compare your hit rate or comments to those of real WOYWWers.  Then you'll understand.  And anyway, this particular weekly thing - it's kinda not about the hit rate, it's about the community you discover.

Color Challenge

I just found this

You know, Lucky Limeade is leaving at the end of May.

I am actually getting anxious to see the new In Colors. Not too excited to see the retiring list, fingers are crossed I don't have to say good bye to what I have. I'd love to see more stamps for guy cards.
Do you remember Classic Pickups and Convertibles? Well I have them and will not part with them either!
Once I get a masculine set in my hands I hang on to it.

Off to play with these colors. Oh, if you click on their picture it should take you to their blog.

Can't wait for pics of MJ this year with the Easter Bunny.

Pass The Butter .. Please.

I actually knew this already, but since I received this as an email today I figured I'd share with friends too!

This is interesting . .. .
Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.
It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter.
How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings....
DO YOU KNOW the difference between margarine and butter?
Read on to the end...gets very interesting!
Both have the same amount of calories.
Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams, compared to 5 grams for margarine.
Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study. Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.
Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!
Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.
Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years .
And now, for Margarine..
Triples risk of coronary heart disease ...

Increases LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact...

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC... and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area.
Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value ; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny micro-organisms will not a find a home to grow.

Why? Because it is nearly plastic. Would you melt your tupperware and spread that on your toast?

(If you want to 'butter them up' for better health)!

Chinese Proverb:
When someone shares something of value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it with others.
Triples risk of coronary heart disease ...
Increases LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)
