Encouraging Garden Floral

The ongoing theme for her International Blog Highlights is - Encouragment
Unfortunately I couldn't get the card made and uploaded and get my internet to agree with me for uploading in time for her hop.

The card design is from Dawn. She calls it Pull Out Fun Fold.
The base is Mossy Meadow with Garden Lane DSP pull out piece is Pear Pizzazz. Every Day punch with the sentiment on Whisper White stamped in Mossy Meadow was a tiny bit of Mint Macaron behind it and Mint Macaron Textile ribbon.
The leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow on Pear Pizzazz punched out with the leaf punch. The flowers are stamped in Mango Melody and Crushed Curry on Whisper White and punched out with the new Perennial Flower punch.

I did a Whisper White piece on the back for writing area with what was left of the 3 7/8" x 12" DSP that I had cut to do the front.

Thank you for looking and go check out Kylie's blog for more beautiful cards.

Hello

This card was made using the Global Design project sketch Challenge number 154. #GDP154
I wanted to use copper on it because I bought the copper trim from the new catalog and I have copper embossing powder and copper foil paper so I ask Google to find me a color combination using copper it pulls up Brian King from 2016 used cherry cobbler whisper white and copper

I used stampin Up country home stamp set embossed with copper and colored with blends there's a piece of burlap under the copper trim. Cardstock is whisper white thick for the base whisper white standard for the image copper foil and cherry cobbler cardstock
.

Thank you for looking.

MDS Monday Challenge

I found a very cool Blog, with My Digital Studio Challenges, oooh right up my alley!

A background technique that could be applied to a card or scrapbook page, the herringbone technique
She even posted a link to the tutorial AWESOME! (I really needed that one)

This one turned out okay, Was just goofing around, didn't have a photo in mind when I started. The photo came after completion. I had to go search my stash for a Christmasy pic!
Thank you Marla for always sharing  photos!

My second page, I planned around the photo, using color match to do it. All the stripes match their clothes and the blue in the sky. I really love this photo of my Uncle and his wife.
The drop shadow shows better on this one too.

Get Well for Jan

Found a challenge to make a get well card.
I didn't need 1, but figured I could make it up and just toss it int he stash.

So off to find a color combo idea I liked. Stumbled on someones board on Pinterest (of course)
Then from there over to a new blog Dynamic Duos. The Challenge there was for Subtles, but I really liked a card Halley had made, So here is my CASE of her BABY card.

Used my new DSP Afternoon Picnic, it coordinates with Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz and Very Vanilla
I tried out a new Debossing idea I found on You Tube for Karen Burniston, using her Framelits she created for SU.. I can't believe I did it! LOL
Not happy with my sponging, but that Crushed Curry seems so BAM to me anyhow.
The  5/8" Organza Ribbon seems to work well
Then when I found something else I liked, and clicked on Like Me on FB, I learned one of my good friends is having heart trouble, so I guess this card gets  a home after all.

Not happy to need it now.

P.S. BTW my table isn't so cleared anymore!

A Bit ahead of myself!

July is my month to share some card making items....I got a bit ahead of myself and got them all done and mailed out in mid June!

WOW! Is the color off in this photo, the background mat is a light grey! My sister had bought a lot of papers from somewhere and shared with me, not a clue who made it.
Grey, a vanilla and print.
The Stamped image is Stampin' Up! Thoughts and Prayers.
Ink is Tempting Turquoise, Gumball Green and Early Espresso
The hardware and brads are also SU. Oh how I wish they's bring that back!!!!

For this card I used SU Open Sea stamp set with Early Espresso ink
I colored it with the old SU Metallic Pencils
The DSP is SU, and the Night of Nave CS and the Bakers Twine
The Nestie is Labels #9
The white is something random

Thanks for looking.with all this rain I can't really do anything out in the yard, so making cards sounded good!

I can't stamp yet.. no Pronation Range of Motion with anything in my hand yet!

But I can cut small pieces and I can color as long as I can keep it close to me!

I see I'll have to call my sister and tell her to pull the back off the scor-tape on the one corner! LOL

Cards

Happy Birthday Cameron! I found out after I had this one ready to go, he prefers kitties!

This is my first card for Deb's Challenge.I made it with Clint in mind, but never gave it to him. I used Smooch and Spica for the truck. I'll have more details in my SCS Gallery.

This card was made for Clint by Laurie. Her and Tom sent him a bag of each flavor M&M's. She spoils him!!
Love the card!

Clearly Inspired Challenge #28

http://www.clearlyistamp.typepad.com/
has a challenge going for a Critter card.. well Critters are right up my alley!
I had some trouble coloring that rooster... man is he small! LOL

The stamp set is from SU Farm Life
I used the Cricut Cartridge Storybook to cut the card and mats
SU Ink.. Close To Cocoa, Really Rust and Chocolate Chip
I colored it mostly with SU Pastels and a bit with Koh-i-nor Pencils

Clint got a real good laugh out this one... I was on the phone while I was stamping, I stamped the animals upside down (as you can see I had to trim the top edge)
so I flipped it over and did it over.. upside down again!
So I cut a new piece... well 4 new pieces later I got it!

I've wasted card stock before, but not so much of the same thing!

Not a good picture, but it's raining and so gloomy there is just no good light to be found.

Thank you Lori for the challenge and thanks everyone for looking!
