I am gonna miss her!

Baby had to be put down on August 23rd.

This was probably the hardest thing Clint has ever done.



No idea what it was about one ear up, but I always knew if she was in a good mood. Even when she'd "protect" me, she'd have an ear while biting Clint! LOL
She was his dog for many years before I came around, and she decided I belonged to her. My Beagle (Joker) also belonged to her.
We were so worried about how she would act with him, but to her .. he was HER PUPPY.
He even thinks he's as big and tough as she was. He did get pretty strong from playing with her. S'pecially tug o war over his blanket.

In My Garden Tonight

A gardener Snake (who wouldn't sit still for his pic and I let him go too soon) and a tiny Copper Belly Snake, (he was less than 12" long) A little Salamander, Several Toads, (Colleen is holding 1) A bee that stayed still for a second.
That was probably the coolest pic I have ever taken.

Wierd things in my yard

I have a very strange plant.. it starts out with these black spikes then those turn into little tiny purple flowers.
Then I have these very tall purple things.. possibly lavendar.. God planted it not me.
And then He planted a thistle.. UFF DA its huge!!
I just stay away from that thing

Oh! I am so jealous!!

I went to Pine City to do some shopping and on the way back I noticed a neighbor was having a garage sale. (I can't resist those things)
I saw her garden and that's where I stayed! Oh it is just so pretty! A lot of my plants came from her as babies. Wish mine looked like hers now!

Accident prone me...

On Thursday after work Clint calls and tells me to stop and get something to bathe the dogs... they have been sprayed!

Well I stopped and picked up Skunk Odor Dog Shampoo, so when I got home I gave them both a bath! OMG did they stink!!

Well I was cleaning out my tub and wiping up the floor and I did the splits on the wet linoleum floor. Despite the pain in the legs I did something to my ankle.

Babied it all night then in the morning we went berry pickin', I was fine sitting on my knees.. then I got up! WOW! that hurt! But we got 2 huge buckets full of Strawberries for Jelly!

From there we went over to Colleens... she's s'posed to be packing to move back to McGrath. The wedding is Saturday too. I think I made her step son to be and his buddy scared of me! I put on my drill sergeant hat and got everyone busy! We got one room all packed up!

My ankle hates me though! When I got home and looked t it, its really fat and bruised. So I iced and wrapped it up.

Yesterday I wanted to work on cards, but my table is in front of the window and it faces west.. the sun was just right and killing me! So I talked Clint into rearranging my room. the desk is now on the East wall with no window, so I have choices of which side to sit on! YAY!

Oh, I had company in the view last night... I took a Birch stump and mad eit into a table for a small bird feeder and I have enjoyed a Blue Jay each night at about 7 pm... well I now had a Raccoon destroy the feeder to empty it! Jerk!

Now here it is Sunday and its still giving me grief!

But I am going to meet Peggy Sue today so its just gonna have to get over it!

It is for Darla (Clint's sister) B'day .. she's into wolves too, its not easy doing a wolf for a girl! LOL

As my world turns

LOL! Its like a soap opera here I tell ya!
I have a new room-mate! He had one week left of school and his mother flipped! She threw him out because he wanted to go n to college rather then join the Military like she wanted.
Anyhow, he graduated an honor student! He was also excepted to LSC in Duluth.

He needed to move into my craft room, but I kick him out early so I can still get inky! LOL
I have yet to convert him into a stamper!

The Circle of Life

Walk in my Garden.. I did Stickles on the little circles, but it looked funny so I rubbed it off. Now the whole card is sparkly!!

WOW! What a day!

I had a great turn out for my class today!
A wonderful (fun & talented) group of ladies came down (about a 3 hour drive) to Pin City to stay in the retreat and do some cards with me!

They had brought with them a project from one of their group meetings ( A shoebox card making stuff) They had some really neat things in there!
I have to try hard to remember them so I can recreate them!

Bonnie had purchased this kit at a convention she was at.. Chip Board with shaped holes in it to use with Cuttle Bug Folders.. they leave a un-embossed area! Man were they cool! I really gotta figure those out! I think Marni might get into those! (hint hint Marni!)

Sue seemed to enjoy teaching Crystal a few more things with the Cuttle Bug! Just so she doesn't want me to buy one of those next! LOL
...

Now for my trip home.... the drama begins here!

I took Crystal home and I was about 1 mile from my house and the control bar that holds the tranny up... broke off the car! So my tranny is dragging and the motor is tilted! GREAT!
I can't shift into nuetral or even park, on a hill no less!

Well the car is now at Jays hopefully being welded. Not sure how I feel about that, the gas tank is held in with a ratchet strap. Gee I have a zippy tie holding my blinkers in on the front, duct tape where the back wing window was.

Anything else???????

Oh! I did buy something today that I can play with later that might give me pleasure... Black Stickles! Odd color for stickles I had to get it! LOL
