Where am I s'posed to sit?

Wilbur looks so comfy sleeping in the rocker while I make cards.

But then I get up to go use the Big Shot... and Louie takes my chair! He's all stretched out leaving NO room for me to even share the chair.

Christmas Cards for July

This is a OSW I had started for last years challenge.
Once I cut the paper I hated it!

I was given some Jolee's by my DSS and they happened to be sitting close to each other and thought...humm

So I put this set together and it doesn't impress me, but it's alright! LOL

02 March 2011

This explains so much!

I found this on another blog and have to pass it around!!

February VSN

I wasn't going to do this challenge, then I came across this paper in a pad (Immortal) and figured why not!

The challenge was to use Sheet Music on a card. i didn't even know I had any.

Thank you Taylor (stagccva) for the challenge!

Denise, Resqbarbie, challenged everyone to get their heart pumping with a great sketch!

The background is a cuttle bugged piece I got from someone else (no idea what the folders name is)
I used all left over card stock from my last weeks project!

The Stamp Set is God's beauty, ink is SU Grey and the centers of the flowers I touched with a brown Spica Glitter Pen

Thank you Denise for the challenge! I like this sketch, I may use it again!

WOW! This horrible little card! LOL
I had her cut out this morning and just tossed it aside, I couldn't find the inspiration for this one at all!

Michelle/Eliotstamps challenge is to make a card featuring a red dress in honor of heart health for women.
The dress part was easy....

Nestie Label #8 in Black CB with tiny hearts, the white is CB with large hearts
Cricut Cartridge I got from Holly ~ Independence Day for the lady. I colored her hair with SU Pastels

Lori - (LMcAree) challenges everyone to take inspiration from a photo of a valentine theme basket.
The heart shaped box with a rose on it jumped out at me!

Thanks Lori!!

I used Cricut George Cartridge for the Heart shaped Card Base
SU Stipple Rose and Pastels, I punched Double rectangle and and ran SU Wine Ribbon through

Julz (jafields76) challenged everyone to make a man card using the soot technique.
The tutorial does warn ya about catching the card stock on fire! LOL
I started out with a 5.25" x 4" piece! LOL

I stamped the same car image inside the card.

Thanks Julz, great challenge. Messy technique, but cool results!

Z Fold

Inspired by Mae Collins

The card stock and paper are from Archiver's
The dp is Graphic 45 Quilting Bee

I tried the technique "Black Magic"
The stamp used is from SU SAB Punch Bunch and SU Scallop Punch

Look what I've done now...

I went from having 15 shelves, taking up a 7' + wall of clutter!

Now I have 5 shelves and more space!
Where that wooden shutter is on the right will be more of those drawer units next weekend.
The baske ton top of that speaker in the far right is my SU Scraps. I really do try to use them more often!

I've been cleaning

This is my table for stamping on.. and for oh I'd say the last month.. un-seeable! I have been working on Christmas cards for my challenge and any thing I have the is Christmas related has been laying there!
Well last night iwas trying to pick things up because Wilbur cleared half the table.
So I decided to put things away a bit!
Not sure how long you'll be able to see any of it! LOL

This table Clint picked up at Pamida on clearance.. works great for taking pics of scrap pages!
My plan was to have it in the living room, then I thought about in the bedroom so I could color in bed.. now here it sits in my room! LOL
Maybe I need 2 more... hint hint!

Now you see where all the Christmas things went! LOL I tied a basket to the side of my new Breakfast Bar, It has a towel holder on each end. I am going to pick up some S hooks so I can have removeable baskets hagning there.
I may even put a piece of peg board on one end.
there are 2 tiny drawers in the front.. no clue what I will use those for yet.
I am normally a standing scrapper so this is perfect!

Popped Up, Charmed and CASEd

Still far from as pretty as Stamp Crave's but closer! LOL
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1858917?&cat=500&ppuser=25693

1 I am in love with this punch!

2 I want more of this paper! I have no idea what it is, I forgot like a dummy to keep that strip off the bottom! It is 2 sided and I really liked it!

3. I can't get enough of stampcrave's card she made! LOL
Paper Crafts sent me a subscription letter and inside was 1 card sketch recipe

Turned out kinda cute!

My mom has these drawer units full of things, she said I could help myself. Well I grabbed a couple tassels and tiny flowers. She said I had to make something if I was gonna take stuff! LOL

I did, I did!
I was asked to try this technique featured on the home page at SCS. so .... I did!
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/slidingpopupcard/

It was complicated to me, I had to watch the video and do the step by step instructions. I took me all day! LOL

CCC11 May cards

I started this OSW over a year ago. I bought the paper from Archiver’s in December 2009!
I bought 11 sheets of DP and enough card stock to do the whole years challenge.
I cut out all the DP into OSW’s…. Only to forget which template went with each baggie later. LOL
Well the CS I picked for this paper was Bazill Bling and I decided I didn’t like it as a bas after all.
So I just put the pieces aside!
I got a friend to help me pick a new CS out and went a different way .. No clue which OSW template this is for anymore.
They are together and done, that’s all I cared about at this point! I’ve never procrastinated a whole year!
I got the first 5 uploaded and the ‘details’ page was nowhere to be found!
I used the Cricut on a couple for the Bases “Wild Card Cartridge”
Cuttle Bug Folders, some old Snowflake stickers, a funky fiber in silver and white, SU Punches, wired ribbon,
To see individual photos for each card, please visit my SCS Gallery!

CCC11 April cards too!

Here's 4 more for my April goal.
I was thinking if I do 6-10 a month I will have more than plenty to share...OWH and my older sister, maybe a nursing home too if I find one that will take them.

I feel just awful I can not remember who i got the images from.
I kept her envelope on my desk, but i did a huge rearrange in here and lots more than just my marbles!

My friend Laurie cut these out for me using her Top Note Die. (I must get one of them)

Colored with Koh-i-nor Pencils and Baby Oil Gel (thank you Chris for that tip!)

And almost back together

Well we'll see how I like this new space! LOL

During the chaos!

Oh this is just awdul! But it was my descion!!
Cutting out the half wall where the closet was and turning the desk gave me 2' more in width!Actually it gave me an additional 2'x5' space!

My poor room got attacked!

BEFORE
Standing in the doorway looking in, straight at the desk

That window faces North, and I dropped a bottle of stamp cleaner on the floor, the next day it was frozen!
My poor table.. I sit there to color and stamp. Now I can't even find it! Stamps and ink, and paper in the corner.
TV and music on the South wall
The cats chair, and oh my addiction! those little plastic drawer units!

Tea Time with Strawberries

I so CASE'd this card from
stampcrave
httpwww.splitcoaststampers.comgalleryphoto1858917s ort=&page=&sortby=&sorttime=&sortd ir=

far from as 'pretty' as hers, but it's what I came up with. I need a different paper I think!

I used a sheet of Graphic 45 paper... loved it till I cut it up!
It was Miss Manners

Christmas Cards for 2011

I CASE'd this layout from Le blog de Cath
The Green sparkly dot paper is from my scraps stash

I CASE'd this layout from Le blog de Cath

The image is one form a SWAP I joined. Sorry no clue what stamp it is or who makes it!

I used CB Folder Dots then a Gold Leafing pen

I kinked my base a tiny bit and so I "fixed" it!

It actually still worked well for the sketch!
The CS is Bazill; Sprout, Aloe Vera, Pear and Leap Frog

The stamp is a a clear one I borrowed.
And 3 Dew Drops!

10 January 2011

Holiday Greetings!

My mom and Raye Lynn (sister) bought this big book of printed Christmas DP.
Card stock actually, and it had 3 or 4 sheets of each design and they shared with me!

I had also printed out MOJO 2010 Sketch book and gave them a copy.

I challenged them to make a card using one of the sketches. I'd do it too just to see how different they would turn out.

So my mom picked one of the sketches and Raye picked a paper.

It has sleighs on it and my very first thought was the "Santa told me" story. Well once I cut the DP I no longer had that thought!

The CS is from Archivers. AC brand. Mostly shades of Grey but the small border punch piece and the base is a blue.
The Nesties is Label #9 a gift form my SCS Friend holly! (thank you so much)
the Stamp is SU and the ink SU Night of Navy
The ribbon, my mom gave and it took the WHOLE spool to do these 8 cards! Uff Da!
It was from her stash that could be from the 70's (she hoards ribbon i tell ya! LOL) I love looking in those drawers... she has tons, but I am not much into using it on cards.. I'm trying though!

Thank you for looking!
